Camp Senior Staff
Vered holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Certificate in Life Sciences from Bar Ilan University. She is a certified behavior analyst and a communication coordinator and teacher of science at the Ulpana Orot Modiin for the past 21 years. Vered was sent on behalf of the Israel Defense Forces and the Agency to Oslo, Norway and Cleveland, USA. A proud mom of seven, Vered lives with her husband Chanoch and family in Nof Ayalon.
Meir Vonhotzer is an attorney with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in law and a master’s degree in Jewish History. Since 2007 he has been involved in informal educational programs with Jewish youth in the Diaspora. Meir has been a shaliach in Europe several times through Bnei Akiva Olamit and the Jewish Agency. He is responsible for the World Diaspora Chidon Hatanach. Meir served as the Assistant Head of Boys’ campus for several years and became Head of Boys’ campus in 2021. He lives in Gush Etzion with his wife.
Tsofiya Maoz has a bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in general and special education. For the past two years, she has been the mechanechet of the special education class in Ulpanat Orot in Modiin. She has been a shlicha to Sweden through Bnei Akiva Olamit, the Jewish Agency, and the World Zionist Organization. Tsofiya began as Assistant Head of Girls’ campus in 2021. She is married to Dvir and the mother of two. They live in Modiin.
Kobi Ziat has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. He has worked for over ten years at OU Israel with youth in informal education. Kobi is the Director of the southern and central Youth Centers of the OU and is responsible for all trips and outside activities of the organization. He joined the Camp Dror administration in 2021. Kobi lives in the Shomron with his wife and four children.
Tali and Josh Harris are excited to be joining the Camp Dror staff and will be running the Fagin Leadership Program. Tali holds a BA from Bar Ilan University in Administrative Education and Communications and has spent nearly 2 years learning at Matan Women’s Institute for Torah Learning. She works as a teacher at Machon Maayan Seminary. Josh has a BA in Business Management from Machon Lev and is in the middle of completing his Smicha. Josh works at Yeshivat Hakotel as a night seder Rav. Tali and Josh have been involved with Jewish youth and informal education for many years in the UK and Israel. They live with their son in Jerusalem.
